The Perth Pop-Up stood out for its unique approach to what an event and temporary retail space can be: an immersive environment that brought together makers, sustainable design, and community. More than a showcase, it became a place for dialogue, discovery, and connection. We’re proud to see this project recognised alongside so many inspiring works - congratulations to all the talented designers shortlisted this year! And another big thank you to our collaborators and partners who helped bring the Pop-Up to life.

Following more than 500 entries, the shortlist for the 2025 Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) is finally ready to share.
As the longest-running interior design and architecture award program in the country, IDEA has attracted the leading lights of Australia’s creative community since 2003. This year proves no different, with a grand total of 328 distinct, captivating projects showcased in our final shortlist.
