Knoll Kevi Chair
Joegen Rasmussen
1970 (Approx)
History
In 1970, Knoll obtained the rights to Jorgen Rasmussen's KEVI chair, primarily drawn to its groundbreaking caster design. This caster was pioneering for being the first to incorporate dual wheels, arranged asymmetrically, allowing each wheel to rotate independently. This unique setup offered enhanced mobility and flexibility for the axle and stem. The KEVI chair's caster became a staple in numerous Knoll products thereafter and laid the foundation for the contemporary caster design.

The Kevi chair is easily dismantled. The aluminium frame was polished and the fabric and foam replaced. The existing black plastic was cleaned.
